Five Oscars-inspired dinner menus

For Sunday night’s Oscar party, we say skip the popcorn and cook up a feast inspired by some of the best picture nominees. From the rolling hills of central Ireland to the anti-gravity field of space, we've created five menus based on some of our favourite films from the past year.

Philomena

Much of Philomena Lee's back story takes place at a convent in Ireland, so this menu is inspired by Irish comfort foods and a whiskey-cream tipple:

Nebraska

Woody Grant consumes a great deal of beer throughout the movie, so we've created an all-beer menu to celebrate this film. (Please be responsible and don't drink and drive!)

Dallas Buyers Club

Inspired by Ron Woodruff and Dr. Eve Sak's steak house dinner, we're serving up classic chophouse fare:

Gravity

This movie takes place mostly in space, so we got a little creative with a menu that uses dried ingredients like fruit and tomatoes (to emulate stereotypical dehydrated space food):
