Sautéed Swiss Chard With Capers

This is among our easiest swiss chard recipes, with just a few pantry ingredients and 15 minutes from start to finish. Eat this healthy green for dinner tonight.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg green swiss chard, about 2 large bunches

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 3 tbsp chopped capers

Instructions

  • Cut stems from chard, discarding any tough ends. Slice into 2-in. pieces. Slice leaves into 1-in.-wide strips.

  • Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium. Add oil, then chard stems and salt. Cook until stems are almost tender, about 5 min. Add leaves. Continue cooking until tender, 2 to 3 more min. Stir in capers and season with pepper.
