Hemp hearts give this vibrant fruit-filled smoothie a creamy touch. Find dragon fruit (also known as pitahaya) in the frozen fruit section of your supermarket.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup grapefruit juice

  • 1/2 cup chopped cucumber

  • 1/2 cup chopped carrots

  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries

  • 1/2 cup frozen pink dragon fruit

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts or quick oats

  • 1/2 tsp honey (optional)

Instructions

  • Add the ingredients and a few ice cubes, if desired, to a blender.

  • Process until smooth. Start from low and then increase the speed if your machine has variable speed.
