This week is Canadian Infertility Awareness Week (CIAW). Because I know so many who have suffered from infertility, I want to spread the word. I have wondered about what it would be like if I decided to have another child. Though there are no plans, I often wonder if it would be as easy as when I conceived my first child. (Drunk and unplanned – could that be any easier?)

I've had a fruit fly problem for the past month. My boyfriend has been complaining about them -- and initially I didn't care, but now I do.

One of my best male friends recently called me because he found out that his wife’s best friend was cheating on her husband, his friend. He asked me: “Should I tell him?” and “If I do, how and when?” — he even asked where to break the news, if he was going to do it.

In a recent photo of me and my daughter, both of us are wearing short jean shorts and v-neck t-shirts made out of that thin, very comfortable, almost see-through cotton. I had a large over-the-shoulder bag. Obviously, I don’t look like a seven-year-old...but I was dressing like one.

I recently spent the afternoon at a friend’s house listening to her talk about her relationship. She definitely needed a pep talk.
