BRING 1/4 cup demerara sugar and 2 tbsp water to a boil. Remove from heat. Cool completely.
STIR 1 1/2 tbsp each Crown Royal Maple Finished Whisky and Canadian rye, 1 tsp demerara syrup and 2 to 3 drops Angostura bitters in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with orange and lemon twist.
