Red Beet Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice

  • 1/2 cup chopped red beets

  • 1/2 cup chopped beet greens or baby spinach

  • 1/2 cup chopped Granny Smith apple

  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries or blackberries

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts or quick oats

  • 1/2 tsp chopped fresh ginger (optional)

Instructions

  • Add ingredients and a few ice cubes, if desired, to a blender.

  • Process until smooth. Start from low and then increase the speed if your machine has variable speed.
