This avocado, kale, pineapple and mango smoothie proves it’s quite easy—and delicious—being green.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice

  • 1/2 cup chopped kale

  • 1/2 cup chopped avocado

  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple

  • 1/2 cup frozen mango

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts or pepitas

  • 1 tsp lime juice (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp chopped fresh ginger (optional)

Instructions

  • Add the ingredients and a few ice cubes, if desired, to a blender.

  • Process until smooth. Start from low and then increase the speed if your machine has variable speed.
