How to peel and core an apple: Granny Smith apple cut in half

Chatelaine Triple Tested

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp finely chopped tarragon

  • 1 tsp grainy mustard

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 apples, cored and cut into matchsticks

  • 1/4 small celery root, cut into thin matchsticks

  • 1/4 cup chopped, toasted walnuts

  • fresh pepper, to season

Instructions

  • WHISK lemon juice and olive oil with tarragon, mustard and salt in a large bowl until combined.

  • ADD apples, celery root, and walnuts. Toss to combine. Season slaw with fresh pepper.
