You know, it seems that no sooner do my hopes get raised that they get dashed once again. I need to stop planning for the future because it is clearly presumptuous.

It's spring, which means everyone is busy getting out from under winter. Passover and Easter are here, cottages are being prepared for the summer, kids are making their plans for camp, events are being planned and people are generally looking forward to the wonderful times that summer has to offer.

Sorry about the lateness of this post – it's a combination of some technical issues and the fact that I am not feeling great this week. I don't know what it is, but I can't seem to get out of this cycle of sickness lately.

Since I can no longer work full time, I have chosen to spend my time on things I feel passionately about. One of those things is obviously fundraising for research into ovarian cancer, both for early detection and better treatment.

I saw my doctor today and got my first set of results since starting the clinical trial six weeks ago — and they were positive. Now I continue with this course of treatment and keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't stop working.
