Fundraising for ovarian cancer through aWEARness

Since I can no longer work full-time, I have chosen to spend my time on things I feel passionately about. One of those things is obviously fundraising for research into ovarian cancer, both for early detection and better treatment. aWEARness, a clothing sale supporting the Princess Margaret Hospital that happens on May 1 this year, is one cause I'm involved with — you can get more details at the link.

I have been thinking about charitable giving and believe that we should all give where we can. The reality is that I get out of it much more than I give because I am doing something good for a cause that I feel strongly about. We should all try to give of ourselves, in whatever way we can. We will help the world generally, but I also believe that we will feel better about ourselves personally as well.
