1. Gather ingredients.

2. Mix ingredients per instructions.

3. Spread cinnamon butter over dough, and roll into log.

4. Slice log in half lengthwise.

5. Tightly twist the two pieces together, cut sides exposed.

6. Form into wreath, pinching egg-washed end underneath to seal.

Our cooking club features one great recipe for the entire month, including a prize for the best photo entry. So spread the word to all your friends—with nearly a month to enter, fitting a new recipe onto the menu will be a breeze.

March to April challenge: Cinnamon wreath, cinnamon buns or a cinnamon-scroll loaf

Perfect for an indulgent weekend breakfast — or an Easter brunch show-stopper — this simple loaf (it starts out just like cinnamon buns) is a beautiful twist on a classic favourite. But wait! You can choose from three different assembly patterns: if preferred, you can make our classic cinnamon buns, or our cinnamon loaf.

The photo

Get creative! Don’t shy away from using colour or props, and experiment with different angles when taking your photo. (Instructions on how to enter below.)

The prize

At the end of the month we’ll select the best photo submission and that lucky winner will receive a 60oz KitchenAid 5-speed diamond blender from our friends at The Shopping ChannelClick here for contest rules and regulations.

Once you have your photo, you can post it one of four ways (make sure you’re not on a private setting):
