The Chatelaine Kitchen produces hundreds of triple-tested recipes a year, and as 2012 comes to an end, it's interesting and inspiring to see which dishes you loved most.

Along with these top ten recipes, you also enjoyed our curated collections and roundups with our delicious and seasonal dishes, especially our 31 best soup recipes, baked goods round-up, December's 90+ cookie collection, the chicken thigh and potato recipes, and definitely our stew, soup and slow-cooker ideas.

Plus, we had some fun testing out some quirky ideas, especially with making potato chips in the microwave, recreating McDonald's secret sauce, making roast chicken in a bundt pan and our two-minute cake in mug.
