Lime-laced spicy yogurt sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Balkan-style yogurt

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro

  • 1 1/2 tsp freshly squeezed lime juice

  • 1 to 2 tsp chili-garlic sauce

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, stir yogurt with coriander, lime juice and 1 teaspoon (5 mL) chili-garlic sauce. Taste and stir in another teaspoon (5 mL) chili-garlic sauce if you like fiery flavours or a little more lime juice, if needed. Spoon sauce overtop lamb burgers. Sauce will keep well, covered and refrigerated, up to 3 days.

This light yet creamy sauce tastes superb with our Express Grilled Lamb Burgers. Very easy to make, it's also great as a topping for beef burgers or as a dipping sauce for fresh-cut veggies. Guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser.
