Ingredients

  • 2 kg beef ribs

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 6 garlic cloves, crushed

  • 1/2 cup ketchup

  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tsp dry mustard

Instructions

  • Preheat barbecue to medium-high. Cut ribs into serving-size pieces no larger than 2 or 3 ribs. Rub evenly with oil. Place on greased grill and cook with lid down, turning often until evenly browned, from 10 to 20 minutes.

  • Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan or microwaveable bowl. Bring to a boil, stirring often. When ribs are browned, reduce heat to medium. Lightly brush with sauce. Continue grilling and brushing with sauce until ribs are well glazed, from 15 to 20 more minutes.
