Why it’s good for us: The fortified version is nutritionally comparable to cow’s milk, containing vitamin A, D and B12, phosphorus, iron and calcium. However, dietician Kim Arrey (Complete Arthritis Health and Diet Guide) warns, that supplemented vitamins aren’t absorbed as efficiently as those that are naturally occurring.

Who should drink it: Vegans and those looking to watch their fat intake.
