I’ve been thinking about music a lot this week. While I always have tunes playing somewhere, whether it’s on my computer while I putter, or in the kitchen while I cook or in the car while I zip around from site to site for work, music’s always there.

But this was no high priest ready to encourage middle-aged men and women to start walking after being paralyzed or to see again after going blind.

The idea of "middle age" used to be something we vaguely associated with our parents. And yet, here we are or almost are. So what does it mean to be a "middle aged" woman?

The issue of political correctness is a struggle for me. It’s not that I personally try to offend anyone, but rather I look to entertain. See, I firmly believe in the wisdom of Johnny Carson: “People will pay more to be entertained that educated.” When it comes to writing about fitness and weight loss, I endeavour to do both.
