Today, I took the nuclear iodine for my thyroid scan tomorrow. I guess that I'm officially radioactive.

Today I went to the endocrinologist, who confirmed that I do indeed have Grave's disease. I don't know what answer I was hoping for, but in some way, I think I was praying for a miracle.

There's nothing quite like a wedding to make you reflect on your own situation and your own relationships. I've spent plenty of time doing that and right when I felt that luck was on my side, things have going horribly wrong.
