The Herbed chicken meatballs with spaghetti dish would definitely impress my parents. My mother would love the simple yet flavourful tomato and wine pasta sauce, while my father would dig right into the meatballs and likely not say a word until after his second helping. (Correction: it would likely be three words, “What’s for dessert?”)

When my husband took his first bite of the Singapore noodles he immediately announced that it tasted 'restaurant good'. I will take that as a compliment, thank you. This is yet another easy-to-prepare weeknight dinner. In just 30 minutes, we were able to sit down to a tasty meal full of delicious, exotic flavours. I haven’t been to Singapore (yet!), but I did love these noodles. And if people in Singapore eat like this every day, then I’d like to book myself for an extended vacation to Southeast Asia.

Our two-year-old couldn’t keep his hands off of the Penne with creamy brie and tomatoes. Or should I say Rotini with creamy brie and tomatoes recipe? I had a hard time snapping a photo before serving it because he kept asking, “Mommy, can I have some?”, while I was trying to ease the bowl away from his reach. I suppose I could have tried harder to get him not to stand on the furniture and stick his hands into our dinner but he’s never really done it before and I thought it was cute.
