The biggest night in fashion didn’t disappoint with a full array of awesome looks from Hollywood’s brightest. From head-to-toe monochromatic outfits to sheer gowns with plenty of high-watt sparkle, celebrities brought their fashion A-game to the Oscars red carpet.

Emma Stone

Emma Stone arrives in this glamorous champagne-hued gown. With her fringed beaded skirt, bombshell waves and bold dark lip, she’s channeling old Hollywood.

Viola Davis

In a sea of nude and black hue dresses, Viola Davis sets the carpet on fire in this red gown. The tailored dress boasts a fantastic neckline that showcases Davis’ stunning shoulders.

Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman arrives in a beautiful nude gown with a halter neckline. The circular beaded pattern is exquisite  — and we can’t resist her pop of colour with her bright red lip.

Taraji P. Henson

Taraji P. Henson serves up a healthy dose of Hollywood glamour with a plunging, off-the-shoulder neckline and high side slit. The glitzy collar necklace finishes off this flawless look.

Hailee Steinfeld

This ethereal halter gown on Hailee Steinfeld combines sheer, light-as-air fabrics with metallic and pastel flowers. And the epic ruffle detail along the back and long train makes her exit extra stunning.

Halle Berry

While we might not have seen Halle Berry recently on the red carpet, she certainly hasn’t lost her glam edge. This draped one-shoulder gown offers great detail up top and plenty of sparkle and shine along the hemline with those incredible sequins

Ruth Negga

This custom Valentino gown on Ruth Negga was the perfect mix of timeless elegance and modern styling. The high neckline, long regal sleeves and floaty hemline teamed elegantly with her pretty jewelled headband and statement earrings.

Octavia Spencer

Octavia Spencer’s spectacular silver gown with a timeless off-the-shoulder neckline is offset by the full-on princess moment happening on the bottom with the feather and beading embellishment.

Janelle Monae

Sure, this definitely subscribes to the more is more style motto, which won’t be for everyone — but this is exactly what makes the Oscars exciting. Janelle Monae piles it all on with this ensemble. The exaggerated silhouette paired with this sheer bodice is only made more elaborate with the incredible beading, feathers and embellishment.
