It’s not just for kids anymore. In fact, after a brutal winter (that shows no signs of letting up) we think you deserve a jaunt to somewhere warm and sunny. We all know that booking a holiday can be overwhelming. Between choosing a destination, finding the right time that doesn’t interfere with work and home, and deciding what to pack, it can get pretty stressful. So for those of you lucky enough to escape to a sunnier destination, then here are some must-have essentials to take away with you.

1. Michael, Michael Kors beach bag, $500

Try to find a beach bag pretty enough to double as your carry-on. That makes one less thing to pack in your suitcase.

2. Tosca Delfino bikini

No need to be terrified of a two-piece anymore! Find a bathing suit with a retro cut for a high-waisted bottom and a cool print to distract from any imperfections.

3. Ray-Ban shades, Sunglass Hut, $140

You can't go on a holiday without them! Make sure to find a pair with proper UV protection. This aviator shape never goes out of style.

4.  JOSA Tulum dress, Holt Renfrew, $250

Lightweight and wrinkle-free, this maxi dress is the perfect companion for a warm weather get-away. Plus, it easily works as a swimsuit cover-up when poolside.
