How to make your own statement necklace

Grab some felt and beads and follow these four easy steps to an easy and on-trend bib necklace. Top it off with a pretty ribbon.

What you need: Fabric or craft glue, ribbon, felt, 8 to 10 strands of pre-strung beads, scissors.

1. Cut felt into a bib-like shape.

2. Glue a strand of beads onto the felt, starting 1 in. down from the top and working from the inside out. Glue on the remaining strands, keeping each as close to the previous one as possible.

3. Make a small hole on each side of the necklace, just above the beads. Cut the ribbon in two, tie a small knot on the end of each piece, and string through holes.

4. Trim off any excess felt around bib shape.
