$48, Shu Uemura

With over 40 years of oil-based history to back the Japanese skincare giant up, is it really any wonder that Shu Uemura has once again concocted a supreme facial product that has us racing home at night just so we can remove our makeup? Utime8 Cleansing Oil is comprised of eight super oils — jojoba, shea butter, corn, soy, camellia ginger root, olive and safflower—that the company’s scientists claim will alternately renew, brighten, hydrate, vitalize and nourish, while fighting wrinkles and acting as an antioxidant and skin barrier. If that weren’t enough, the decadent cleanser also leaves a light, fresh, flowery herbal scent on our face that is, in a word, luxurious. The best part: the oily formula transforms into a milky emulsion as soon as it’s massaged across wet skin. And that is almost as pleasurable as knowing that every trace of dirt, sweat and grime has been replaced with a smooth and glowing complexion.
