$26, Philosophy

We read the label, we know that this cleanser is ideal for oily skin, yet still gentle enough to remove our eye makeup without all of that horrible stinging and burning business. (Thank you, Philosophy, we actually really appreciate that.) We even paid attention when the brand’s experts told us that the cleanser’s foaming feature will provide us with a deep clean, removing impurities like dirt, oil, pollution and makeup residue from our skin, leaving our face feeling refreshed not tight. But what really made us sit up and pay attention was the teeny paragraph of feel-good copy scrolled across the front of the tube. It told us: we don’t have to be perfect to be pure, that purity is perspective and to keep an open mind. So we did. And guess what? We like it. Not only does our skin feel good and look great, but somehow we also like ourselves just a little bit better. A nice bonus for just washing your face, don’t you think?
