Bacon

Here's what we suggest you do with leftover bacon.

Warm green bean salad

Pan-fry 3 finely chopped bacon strips until crispy. Stir in 2 sliced garlic cloves. Remove from heat and discard bacon fat. Stir in 1 tbsp each Dijon mustard and white-wine vinegar. Stir in blanched green beans.

Sweet & savoury French toast

Boil 1 cup frozen blueberries with 1 tsp sugar in a medium saucepan until syrupy, about 5 min. Spoon over warm French toast. Sprinkle with finely chopped cooked bacon.
