Bakeware is perfect for cookie giving. Look for interesting shapes like this brioche tin, or try a more rectangular shape like a loaf tin.
A mailing tube is ideal for shipping, or giving, flat round cookies. Simply cut to the desired length and fill with sweet treats.
Repurpose a square tin or can (like a tea tin) into a cookie jar by wrapping it with decorative paper and adding a ribbon.
A parchment or wax paper carton works well as a gift box. Remove the cardboard tube, line with pretty tissue and fill with cookies.
