Cherry basil bruschetta

Cherry basil bruschetta

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pitted cherries

  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced fresh basil, or mint

  • 1/4 up snipped fresh chives

  • 2 tsp red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar

  • pinch salt

  • pinch pepper

  • 1 small baguette, thinly sliced and toasted

  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta

Instructions

  • Finely chop cherries and place in a medium bowl. Stir in basil, chives, vinegar, salt and pepper. Spoon over baguette slices, then sprinkle with feta.

We all know fresh, luscious cherries make divine desserts. But they also add "wow" factor to savoury dishes.
