Lighter than juice and way more interesting than sparkling water, agua frescas are next-level refreshers. Here’s a watermelon-grapefruit take on the drink.
7 cups peeled and cubed seedless watermelon
1 cup freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
1 cup water
1/3 cup agave syrup
1/4 tsp salt
Combine watermelon with grapefruit juice, water, agave syrup and salt in a high-powered blender. Blend until liquified and very smooth. Strain into a large pitcher filled with ice, adding water if needed to adjust for sweetness.
