Mulled Wine

Warm up the holidays with a hot cup of wine. Warm spices like cinnamon, cloves and star anise add festive flavour, with sliced clementines bringing a pop of colour and citrusy kick.

Ingredients

  • 750 mL dry red wine

  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar

  • 10 cloves

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1 whole star anise

  • pinch of allspice

  • sliced clementines, to garnish

Instructions

  • HEAT wine with sugar, cloves, cinnamon, star anise and allspice until just warm (don't let it boil). Keep warm in a slow cooker or on the stove. Garnish with clementines.
