ReadyMade – How to Make {Almost} Everything: A Do-It-Yourself Primer (Clarkson Potter, $35) |
In this book, hot off the press from the founders of ReadyMade magazine, Shoshana Berger and Grace Hawthorne take a modern approach to how-to projects, with designs that turn everyday objects into works of art. The projects are categorized by material: paper, plastic, wood, metal, glass and fabric, each with easy-to-follow steps and illustrations. All the items are so unique that it's hard to choose a favourite, but I'm partial to the shopping-bag rug and the water-bottle planter wall. |
