The Duchess of Cambridge delivered the royal baby (a girl!) at 8:34 am (2:34 am EST) on Saturday. On Monday, it was revealed that her name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, a nod to both the current Queen and William's late mother.
Kate wore a floral Jenny Packham dress to introduce the princess to the public outside of the Lindo Wing. Packham also designed the blue dress Kate wore after Prince George was born.
The birth was announced with this notice placed on an easel at Buckingham Palace.
Weighing 8 pounds, 3 ounces, Charlotte is the first girl born in the main line of succession in 65 years.
