Good news, spicy sports fans.

Heated Rivalry, the album, is coming soon—and the soundtrack to the made-in-Canada queer hockey romance novel series/TV show/ global cultural phenom is going old school in a big way. It’ll be available in both vinyl and CD formats.

For collectors, there’s even an exclusive “icy” version that comes in a sleek silver vinyl pressing.

If your turntable or Discman are non-existent, not to worry. It's also available to buy as a digital download.

The album, which will be available on July 10, will also reportedly come with trading cards, a fold-out poster that includes imagery from the HBO/Crave series starring Hudson Williams as Shane Hollander and Connor Storrie as Ilya Rozanov (no word on what the imagery will look like yet but we hope that Hollander is wearing his Team Canada fleece), and liner notes written by the show’s creator, Jacob Tierney.

The series’ music draws heavily on Canadian bands and performers, including the work of singer-songwriter Peter Peter, who wrote the show’s score and theme song, as well as Montreal’s Wolf Parade, who have reportedly seen their fan base skew younger of late, a change they attribute to exposure from the wildly popular series. Their song, “I’ll Believe in Anything” pops up throughout the show in snippets and plays a pivotal role in an emotional fifth episode reveal.
