With growing concerns of the collapse of honey bee colonies, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts have been doing their part to help preserve the bee population across the continent.

Can four stars save the bees? Fairmont Hotels is banking on it. The company is building top-notch accommodations for our native solitary pollinator bees on hotel rooftops across the country. The drastic decline in bee populations may be partly due to lack of habitat — and these architect-designed bee hotels come complete with cozy branches and bundles of twigs for the insects to breed, lay eggs and find respite in. We couldn’t bee happier for them!
