Who are you: Carolyn Chua, Associate Food Editor

What was your kindness deed: I baked streusel-crunch blueberry muffins for the guys at my local fire hall.

Why did you want to this:  Last February, when my husband lost consciousness, they responded so quickly — I wanted to give back to them.

How did it make you feel: Glad that I could do something for them in return.

How did they respond: Surprised and grateful for the unexpected treats!
