Who are you: Valerie Jones, General Manager, Chatelaine.com

What was your kindness deed: My kids and I gave presents to children who may not get presents this year. We dropped them off at our local fire hall.

Why did you want to do this: We wanted to give toys to kids who don't have much.

How did it make you/them feel: It taught my kids about compassion and generosity.  It also made us feel kind of sad that there are so many people in the world who have so little.
