Who are you: Amy Rosen, Acting Food Editor

What was your kindness deed: When I arrived at work, I thought Janet looked really pretty, and I told her so.

Why did you want to do this: Instead of just thinking about what I'm seeing (she looks good in that sweater, I like his haircut) I often tell people. It's such a simple way to lift up somebody's spirits.

How did it make you feel: I was glad I brought a smile to her face on a Monday morning.

How did they respond: She told me that my compliment really made her day.
