Designer Heidi Earnshaw creates beautiful handcrafted furniture that's simple yet functional. Simply splendid

Toronto-based designer Simon Ford gained recognition last year for his innovative bench,  Geppetto’s Boy, with its asymmetric aesthetic and multi-purpose appeal. Playfully named after the story-book character Pinochio, this bench with coat hooks and movable mirrors will add interest to any entryway.

Work of art

Montreal artist Corinne Campenio takes her own photos and transforms them into graphic prints for furnishings. The results are one-of-a-kind seats that radiate elegance and sophistication — and in this case, a hint of Canadiana.

Multipurpose design

Toronto-based design team Paus + Grün’s latest bespoke piece is a credenza, bench, wine rack and bar fridge all in one. Made with solid maple, which was oxidized to create the unique sandy gray finish, this intriguing seat can be upholstered upon request.
