How to fix a broken heart or bad mood with exercise

Heart disease and depression often go hand in hand.

Fortunately, researchers at Duke University Medical Center found a fix for both: exercise! In a study of over 2,000 people, improvements in heart health and mood were observed in those who did 30-minute workouts three times a week.

Bottom line: "You don't need to train for a marathon to see the benefits," says lead author James Blumenthal. So get up and get going!
