Ladies, the holidays are closing in on us, and it can be a uniquely difficult time for singles.

You definitely won’t find us ordering a double-double or an old-fashioned glaze. But we’re a patriotic bunch — which means we can’t help our love for Tim Hortons.

I’m nosy by nature. I’ll be honest — I like to poke into other people’s lives and pick up bits of news about what’s going on at work or on the schoolyard.

It seems like there's some form of added sugar in nearly everything these days, from bread to tomato sauce. But that doesn't mean it has to be used in high quantities in the foods you cook at home.

I know that it's supposed to be everyone's dream to win the lottery and permanently kick their feet up in some tropical locale — and, admittedly, that doesn't sound terrible, especially since the offer would likely come with unlimited margaritas.
