If you’ve ever been to Argentina then you likely know it is famous for having the tastiest steaks in the world. I blame Argentina for my frequent red meat cravings. I also blame Argentina for my frequent disappointment when I order a steak from a restaurant in my homeland and it has neither the flavour nor the girth of a steak prepared in Argentina.

This recipe sounded really good: Pork tenderloin parmigiana. I love Parmesan cheese. I suppose I love most cheeses, but Parmesan cheese has a way of making a dish absolutely delightful, doesn’t it? Add the word ‘parmigiana’ to any food item and I will try it. Hmm, would ‘Parmigiana’ make a nice girl’s name? Sorry, my baby name list is a little bare in the girl column and I just have three more months to go. It’s been so exciting trying all these recipes (23 so far!) that baby name brainstorming has fallen by the wayside.

The photo in the cookbook of Thick chops stuffed with brie looked good enough to eat. I thought this would be the perfect meal to share with friends who were coming by on a weeknight with their 2-month-old baby (or 8-week-old baby in parent-speak). What I didn't anticipate was working late and getting home approximately seven minutes before our guests arrived.

I have to be honest with you: I am writing this as the scones are in the oven and I don’t yet know if this recipe turned out. I wanted to offer warm, delicious White chocolate scones to my friend and her toddler who are stopping by very soon. The next 12 to 15 minutes will determine whether she is offered scones or some cookies extracted from a half-empty glossy blue plasticized container bag.

Sorry baby brother, but your pancakes are no longer the best pancakes I’ve ever had. I just finished making (and eating) the fluffiest, tastiest pancakes using the Best buttermilk pancakes recipe. Don’t fret, though, I’ll share the recipe with you.
