Beauty professionals from across the country came together last Sunday to celebrate the 22nd annual Contessas: The Canadian Hairstylist of the Year Awards.

The night's big winner was Tony Ricci of Ricci Hair Co. in Edmonton. Ricci took home the night's top honour, Canadian Hairstylist of the Year, as well as the prizes for Elite Master Hairstylist of the Year, Alberta Hairstylist of the Year and Canadian Salon Team of the Year.

Here's a look at some of the other winners from across Canada:
