Are you expecting? According to Stats Canada, September is the most popular time for women to conceive. From the recent arrival of the royal baby to expectant moms such as Halle, Kate and Gwen, there’s a full-blown baby boom.

If you’re an expectant mom (congratulations!) seeking an equally stylish wardrobe over the next nine months, then you’re in luck because there are a slew of fashion-forward lines and retail options hatching.

Stork & Babe, the just launched mini collection found within select Thyme Maternity stores (Canada’s largest maternity wear retailer) is an offshoot of the brand, carrying runway-inspired clothing for expectant moms. Women can find on-trend looks with flattering cuts that include the magic of modern maternity technology. Think: black denim with a bellyband and leather tights with a gusset.

Want to shop from home? Toronto-based shop, Belly, is selling maternity merchandise nation-wide through their site (their Shopify site will be live mid-October), or call them directly for a phone consultation, and have your order shipped directly. How civilized is that? They carry some hard-to-find lines such as, Rosie Pope, from designer and host of Pregnant in Heels, Naissance On Melrose (NOM) and J Brand.
