West Coast Scene: Skoah

By Kate
skoah
Vancouver-based skincare brand Skoah is one to watch. After opening its first location in the Yaletown district in November 2001 it has gained a following out West as a boutique skincare spa and consequently developed products to offer the same results. They have specialized facials and developed a skincare line out of that. It's the concept of  "personal training for your skin." The products are loaded with plant-based ingredients in combination with active ingredients. It's opening its first location in Boston this June, the brand is currently sold at the Chinook Centre, Calgary, Metrotown, Burnaby and Yaletown, Vancouver as well as in hotels. There's also an online store at Skoah.com  that ships worldwide. Check it out for your yourself and let me know what you think! I have yet to try out their skincare boutique (it's a proximity thing) but have been hearing good things. – Kate Daley
