Weekly steal: Wide-brim hat

Whether you're having a good or bad (we all do) hair day, a chapeau adds an instant hit of classic style to any fall wardrobe

What it is: Wide-brim hat, $30, Gap

How to wear it: Hats off to the Gap for this fun, affordable fall accessory. The fedora and fedora-like hats are more commonly seen during the summer months but when crafted in wool, they can be worn throughout the fall and winter. Top off a low, loose ponytail for a sweet and simple style or wear it over brushed-out waves with a blazer, boots and skinny jeans for a super chic fall ensemble.

Why I love it: We all have bad hair days and there is no quicker (or better) fix than popping on a fab hat! I love this fedora-like find that's available in a dark or light shade to match your style, outfit or hair colour. A chapeau adds a bit of mystery to my everyday look but the classic wide brim keeps the sun from hitting my face.
