Weekly steal: A fun, floral print pencil skirt

With approval from the groundhog, spring is just around the corner, so inject a brightly-coloured piece that you wear now with (with layers) and later (with less bulk).

What it is: Floral pencil skirt, $40, H&M

How to wear it: It might be cold (okay, really cold) and it might be snowy (okay, really snowy) but spring is just around the corner (the groundhog said so) and shopping for pieces we can wear now and transition to as the season changes, is key! Wear this printed skirt now with a navy knit on top, opaque stockings and a pair of ankle booties. Then, when the weather warms up, bare those legs and add a silky white tank and pretty pastel pumps.

Why I love it:  There is no better pick-me-up on a cool grey day then a poppy floral print. I just love the playful pattern and sleek (slimming) silhouette of this wallet-friendly pencil skirt.
