Tried and True: Grey Nails

grey nails

This nail colour is one that just won't die out.

While it's evolving into a greige - grey mixed with beige for this upcoming fall- grey nails in general are not going anywhere anytime soon. And because there are so many shades- some more cement, some more muddy, some more metallic, some matte, it's always fun to ask everyone what they're wearing and where they got it.

One beauty editor I ran into had the most fabulous colour. Just enough polish and pop to make this sophisticated over rock 'n' roll and obviously gorgeous enough that it caught my eye. So what shade is this you ask?

It's Deborah Lippmann's "Waking Up in Vegas". The editor grabbed it the newest DONATO Salon + Spa at the Shops at Don Mills and it lasted for over a week! Quite a feat. Lippmann worked with the pros for years so it's no surprise that she knows her shades and formulas that last.

Don't you also love that Tiffany's ring? Must buy one to complete the look I think. What's your favourite grey?
