Summer lips by DuWop

Summer lips by DuWop

It’s not summer quite yet but that doesn’t mean we can’t pretend it is. It’s almost warm enough to sit on a patio (with sunscreen on of course).

So when DuWop’s Icedteas came across my desk I figured, what the hell, let’s get a jump-start on the warm weather makeup. The scent and juicy translucent colours whisked me away to a sunny day on a tropical island, just for a second. With a fruity cocktail in hand of course.

They smell like summer to me.

The flavours include:

-passionfruit,

-strawberry kiwi,

-white peach,

- and black currant.

It’s similar to a lipstick, but also part lip balm, sheer gloss, fruit juice and popsicle all mixed into one. They are just light enough to wear every day for moisture but still provide a nice tint for your lips.

Plus, they contain sunscreen for that all-important lip protection and hydrate using jojoba oil and the antioxidant power of green tea extract.

It’s so cliché but they smell good enough to eat. And they kind of look like jujubes as well…. So be warned – if you're hungry enough you may actually try these out.

DuWop Icedteas, $21.
