The Trend: Work outfit with colour

If you can wear denim to work consider yourself lucky. For you, jumping on this season's hot colour trend is as simple as throwing on a pair of pretty pink jeans with a yellow t-shirt and prancing out the door. For those of us with an office dress code that's a tad more conservative, we need to get a bit creative when crushing on this craze.

One chic way to infuse colour into a weekday outfit is to choose a clean cut pencil skirt in a soft shade (like yellow). Slim and streamline, the sleek piece will add a little colour punch to your look while keeping the overall feel formal. For an additional hit, you can step up your style with a bold statement necklace and bright red tote. Go one step further with your footwear and add a leopard print heel.
