Sonia Rykiel at H&M

By Kate
sonai rykiel, h&m
Is it just me or does it seem like H&M is doing a designer collaboration every other week? Not that I'm complaining. Any excuse to buy designer is fine by me! So of course, now that you have your H&M Jimmy Choo shoes, your Karl Lagerfeld blazer, your Stella McCartney zippered jeans and your Viktor & Rolf sweater,  what in the world are you going to wear underneath it all? Lingerie of course! Sonia Rykiel, the first designer to create lingerie for the Swedish retailer  has designed silk, velvet and satin separates along with brooches, pillows, slippers and hairbands all in a vintage boudoir style. There are six themes to her collection that include tuxedo styles, silks, Rykiel's multi-stripes, rhinestones and bandeau bras. Don't forget the hotpants. The colour scheme is sweet yet sultry, playing up black and pale pink along with violet and rose.   The French designer, known for her soft knits has created a definite hit (some of which I think we may see being worn outside of the bedroom). Find it in stores Dec 5th. And look out for her knit collection coming out in February. – Kate Daley
