As the sun begins to shine, the need to protect your skin is at an all-time high. I don't know what the panic is for me all of a sudden – perhaps the more knowledge you have the more freaked out about sun exposure you get!

So here are some things you might not have thought of. Your lips! I slather SPF everywhere but if you eat and drink it's going to rub off your lips fairly quickly and you do not want sun spots or damage there because it can often show lots of aging.

So here are some great examples of products you can use to moisturize and protect.

First, take this Vichy Lip Protection Stick with Mexoryl XL SPF 20 for $13. Layer it on under your lip glosses or for a stroll in the morning. It will keep lips from chapping as well as helping pigmentation issues. Don't overlook your lips!

Clinique also has great lip options with SPF that can also be used all over. Try this Clinique Sun SPF 45 Targeted Protection Stick, $21. You can use on your lips, nose or cheeks in a pinch and it will fit nicely in your tote with no spillage.

Stay tuned for more great and easy summer sun tips. Find these both at Murale's across the country. (Trust me this store has all of your beauty wants and desires. And hello Optimum Points!)
