Pointed ballerina flat: Weekly steal

This ladylike shoe is on sale and its pretty, pointed toe will keep you looking poised well into fall
By Kate Gertner
ballet flat

What is it: Ballerina shoe with leather cap, $30, Zara How to wear it: This pointed toe ballet flat is the ultimate upgrade from the traditional (and more casual) ballet shoe. It is sleek and feminine and adds a little sophistication to any look – day or night. Wear them to work with a pencil skirt, crisp button-up and a colourful cardigan or try them with skinny jeans and a flowy silk top for an afternoon of flouncing around town. Why I love it: I have been on the search for the perfect pointy ballet flat for months and so you can imagine my delight when I found these shoes at Zara and on sale no less! I love how the narrow silhouette flatters the foot while the pointy tip leans out the leg. I am pairing them now with a cropped pant and sleeveless polo and can’t wait to wear them into the fall with a skinny jeans and an oversized sweater.
